SUMMARY:WILMA Dash + Health Fest
DESCRIPTION:The WILMA Dash is Wilmington\, North Carolina’s ONLY All-Female 5K! It is a great event for first-time runners\, walkers\, and for seasoned runners looking for a personal best. After the race\, stay for the WILMA Dash Health Fest at the start/finish inside the Convention Center Expo Hall. Entry is included with your WILMA Dash registration. \nTHE VENUE: The WILMA Dash will start and finish inside the Wilmington Convention Center’s 30\,000-square-foot Expo Hall. The Health Fest will take place in the Expo Hall as well\, with doors open from 4-9pm. The race kicks off at 6:30pm. \nTHE COURSE: The race course is a flat and fast course through historic downtown Wilmington\, giving you the views of the Downtown area which includes the Battleship\, Bridge\, and the award-winning Riverfront. Course map available following event announcement! \nThis race course is also stroller-friendly!  However\, dogs are not allowed on this course so please leave them at home or with a non-running spectator. \n5K AWARDS: \nTop 3 Overall Females \nTop 3 Overall Female Masters (40+) \nTop 3 Females in Age Groups:\n16 & Under\, 17-20\, 21-24\, 25-29\, 30-34\, 35-39\,\n40-44\, 45-49\, 50-54\, 55-59\, 60-64\, 65+ \nGroup Prizes: \nMost Spirited Team\nLargest Team Participation \nHEALTH FEST AFTER PARTY: \nCelebrate completing the Dash at the Health Fest After Party. \nLocal vendors will be set up in the Convention Center Expo Hall along with food\, drinks\, awards\, and more! \nNot participating in the Dash\, but still want to be a part of this year’s event?
